Production Welder
Lenexa, KS
What you’ll do:
- Perform TIG/MIG welding for any product that is fabricated and requires welding.
- Examine welds and ensure they meet standards and specifications.
- Produce required quality of work.
- Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawing specifications, and processes.
- Sand seams and rough spots with a portable grinder or sander.
- Adhere to company safety guidelines to prevent personal injury, product, or facility damage.
- Ask for and give clear and constructive feedback.
- Clearly communicate in both verbal and written form.
- Abide by the established guidelines to maintain business productivity.
- Promote a culture of respect and an atmosphere of teamwork to foster a positive working environment.
What you’ll bring:
- Welding Certification
- Experience in leadership preferred
- Experience with robotic welding arm preferred
- Comfortable working with aluminum and steel
- Proficient in MIG/TIG welding with at least 3 years of experience.
- Ability to move and/or lift 50 pounds.
- Computer knowledge.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time.
